While preparing to move to Australia, I came across groups, websites, advice and small communities. The information was there, but scattered across many places. CAF Connect was created to bring those pieces together and make them accessible to the people who need them.
Moving abroad on your own means making lots of decisions. Knowing two or three people before you arrive can change those first days: someone to ask questions, make plans or take that first step with.
I’m going alone, but I’m not entirely on my own.

Founder of CAF Connect
I've always enjoyed introducing people, bringing groups together and making plans. I also like welcoming people who arrive alone and helping anyone who needs a little direction.
My journey has taken me through Seville, Cádiz, Granada, Rome and Australia. Moving and travelling have taught me how much it helps to have someone nearby to share the experience with.
I run CAF Connect personally. When a question needs specialist knowledge, I work with external professionals and providers, identified in each section.
It all started by finding people on social media who were preparing for the same Australian adventure. Those first messages led to conversations, connections and a community that gradually grew.
The idea was simple: a shared starting point to meet people, get answers and find useful information before and after arriving.

Today, CAF Connect focuses on Australia. I'd like to bring this approach to other Working Holiday destinations and explore collaborations with hostels, sport, community experiences, group travel and useful brands for people moving abroad.
These are ideas for the future, not services available today. Our first commitment is to make the community we're building in Australia useful and welcoming.
